| Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong is a Christian service organisation based in Hong Kong as part of the global YMCA movement. The Association is committed to building a civil and compassionate Hong Kong through uniting people with the same spirit to extend the Kingdom of God; fostering youth leadership to shoulder social responsibility with keen concern for the motherland and the world; and promoting multiple service programmes based on holistic personal growth, commitment to the underprivileged and reconciliation extending from self to society. |

Retrofitted initiative:
Application of solar film on curtain wall: Shading coefficient enhancement for building envelope in link bridge, Kimberley Road entrance, Nathan Road entrance.
Observed benefits other than energy saving:
- Helps reduce glare and eye discomfort.
- Helps prolong the life and vibrancy in the fabric of furniture and carpets.
- Helps reduce the chance of injury from flying glass.
- High visible light transmission providing excellent aesthetics.
General observations of the retrofitting project:
- Low interior and exterior reflectivity enhances views while maintaining exterior appearance.
- Non-metalized film with no signal interference and no chance for corrosion.
- Helps extend the life of furnishings by significantly reducing harmful UV rays, the largest cause of fading.
