ICC stands 118-storey high and 490 metres above sea level. Inside, it houses The Ritz Carlton Hotel Hong Kong, the sky100 Observation Deck, SkyDining 101, and 2.5 million square feet of premium Grade A office space which is managing by Kai Shing Management Services Ltd.

Six identical centrifugal chillers are installed to supply the building with chilled water. Each chiller is connected to a primary evaporator chilled water pump and a condenser cooling water pump.

Plate heat exchangers are used to separate chilled water supplied to different zones. All secondary chilled water pumps are equipped with variable speed drivers (VSDs). Eleven variable speed cooling towers are installed on a mechanical floor inside the building.

PAUs and AHUs are designed for all the air-conditioned spaces. There are two AHUs for each office floor. Each connected with around 50 VAV terminals.

Description of the building:

The pharmaceutical factory building has a gross floor area of around 3,500 square meters.

The cleanrooms in the factory are served by an HVAC system that consists of three water-cooled chillers and two boilers.

On the air side, fresh air is cooled by the PAU and mixed with recirculation air in the AHUs. Cooling coils and heating coils are installed in the AHUs for temperature and humidity control. To maintain the required cleanliness in the cleanrooms, high recirculation airflow is maintained and passes through HEPA filters. Room static air pressure is also controlled to prevent particle transmission from lower-level spaces to higher-level spaces.
